Offer joined the board in 2016. He is the parent of two Berkwood Hedge alumni (class of 2022, and class of 2020), as well as one current student. Offer is a researcher and lecturer at the University of California Berkeley. He serves as the Co‐Director at the university’s Safe Transportation Research and Education Center (SafeTREC). Offer is a member of the Transportation Research Board Committee on Transportation Safety Management, and the Co‐Chair of the TRB Global Road Safety Subcommittee. Offer received his B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Ben Gurion University of the Negev in 2002, his MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005 and received his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2010.
