Garen Corbett
Garen is a Northeast native who arrived in the Bay Area 15+ years ago. He lives in Kensington with his wife, Stacey, and two daughters, Zoey and Phoebe, both Berkwood Hedge students. He is honored to serve on the Board of Trustees and roll up his sleeves to support the School and its remarkable community.
Garen is used to complexity. He has worked in health care and public policy for over 25 years in government, consulting, and the intersections of higher education and public policy. He has also served on nonprofit governance and advisory boards for over two decades. Garen loves the outdoors and has explored many beautiful trails throughout the US and over three dozen countries. He has worked at the University of California for nearly 15 years, directing an independent health policy analysis program.
He and his family love their two cats and a parakeet (and their music playlists), spending time in the hills and exploring the never-ending wonders of the Bay Area with friends and families. Garen is the least talented dancer in his family.
