Kiana Jardin

2nd Grade EARTH Lead Teacher

Kiana grew up in Berkeley before heading to the Pacific Northwest where she majored in Communications and Food Studies at the University of Oregon. Kiana fell in love with visual and performing art from a young age which would go on to kickstart her passion for inspiring creativity in children working for many years in assistant director roles at a variety of children’s theater companies and teaching art classes and summer camp at Brushstrokes Studio. Her interest in food and gardening led her to volunteer as a School Garden Project teacher in the Eugene 4-J school system where she enjoyed the opportunity to teach children about sustainable garden cycles, exposing them to the wide variety of crops available to them, and connecting them more deeply to the origin of our food. Kiana is beyond excited to be leading the Earth class and loves being a part of the BH community.
