A Warm and Heartfelt Welcome to Our New and Returning Families

I am excited to be back in school and starting our 75th year!

I had the honor of spending time in New York this summer, learning alongside Paolo, Alex, Sarah, and Elisa. Being with them there, I was reminded that I am blessed to work with such amazing teachers and that engaging learning together is an essential part of cultivating our growth mindsets and modeling a love of life-long learning.

This summer, many teachers spent time learning and growing, cultivating their growth mindset. In addition to this week in NY deepening our understanding of teaching writing, Elisa stayed an additional week for the Reading Workshop Institute. Hanan and Silver engaged a two-day Restorative Justice workshop––Several of us will attend in coming months. Elisa participated in a 3-day workshop on Science Phenomena, and Alex and Paolo attended the PBL World, a week-long institute on Project Based Learning. I had the most amazing professional, and in so many ways personal, experience this summer at Harvard at an institute for experienced school leaders. I was so inspired, I signed up for an on-line course with the Harvard Business School. Many teachers attended a ToolBox workshop in June, and Lead and Associate Teachers, along with Learning Specialists, had the opportunity to engage Bridges Mathematics training during our work week.

Our amazing faculty continues to provide the foundation upon which we build our learning community. Below is a list of our team members for the coming year. You can read staff bios here.
