Soup's On
Six times a year the whole school enjoys homemade soup together, family style. Each class takes a turn choosing the recipes (always offering a vegetarian, non-dairy choice) and preparing the soup. Voluntary contributions are collected to support various classroom service learning projects.
Soup's On is always a "no-waste" lunch. We serve in ceramic mugs and use cloth napkins designed by students. All food waste is fed to our composting worms, or added to our green waste bins.
