Teachers at Berkwood Hedge come from a variety of backgrounds and bring experience from both public and independent schools. They participate in regular professional development seminars and conferences, bringing leadership, research, practical experience, and knowledge to their classroom teaching.
On-going intensive staff development focusing on current trends in language arts and mathematics education supplemented with explorations in science and social studies keeps teachers engaged and excited about their own learning.
